Mouvance is a ludic sketch of an experimental dance game I designed during my studies. I wanted recreate the sensation of dancing, through the medium of video games - that differed to the standard of dance games we know today. I wanted to create a game where the player was free to express themselves as they wish and recreate the freedom of dance. The original concept of the game was to explore the relationship between emotions and dance, therefore, I attempted to create environments to induce certain emotions. However after starting the developement, I became so engrossed in the movement mechanics that I decided to shift my focus solely to the movement and expression. The player is able to control the characters moevements with various combinations of inputs which will result in different movements depending on order and speed pressed.
